Khawla Al Hammouri

Khawla Al Hammouri is a Jordanian-Palestinian director and producer. At the age of 23, she co-founded Meel Productions, a production company based in Amman, dedicated to advancing the craft and exposure of Jordanian media. Her interest in topics related to social issues, women's rights and refugees can be seen throughout her work as a journalist for Roya news and writer for Al Jazeera.

Louis Sayad DeCaprio

Louis Sayad DeCaprio is a commercial and documentary filmmaker of Syrian-Italian descent. During his travels, he has shot pieces for Johnnie Walker, Segway, Veronica Beard, and Oscar de la Renta to name a few. His scripted work garnered him a spot as a 2015 Sundance Screenwriting Labs finalist. He has since worked on numerous shows for Netflix and Amazon. He is most passionate about telling global stories that explore memory, place, and identity in the face of trauma.

Liz Charky
Producer

Liz Charky is a Middle Eastern American filmmaker and choreographer dedicated to creating works that centralize and elevate underrepresented voices. She was a 2019 artist in residence at Outpost Artist Resources and Cucalorus Film Festival. In 2017, she co-lensed LA MEDEA (dir. Yara Travieso) a latin-disco feature film, screened at SXSW and Miami Film Festival. Since 2018, she has supported reporting and research for Seasons 1 & 2 of the KCRW/NPR podcast BODIES. She is an associate producer on the upcoming feature documentary VISIONS OF THE FOREST (dir. Maxi Cohen), covering global stories on ayahuasca. She is the co-founder of the production company Close To The Body and holds a B.A. in Film Studies and Dance from Connecticut College.

Nagham Osman
Co-Producer

Born in Dubai to Egyptian parents, Nagham Osman studied Theatre and Journalism & Mass Communications at The American University in Cairo. She assisted film director Ruba Nadda on CAIRO TIME (2008) and worked on multiple Hollywood blockbusters shot in Egypt. She shot her first film in Abbas Kiarostami's masterclass (2011) in Dubai and it was screened at the Gulf Film Festival. She has also received the Cairo Film Connection development fund from the Egyptian Ministry of Culture (2012) and The Abu Dhabi Film Festival Sanad development fund (2013) for her project LITTLE. She was awarded the Tisch, Purin Foundation and the May and Ahmed Heikal Scholarships to pursue her MFA in the graduate film program at New York University.
